I'm going to Wichita

What in the world is it?
minelmio: It's part of a foot...
That looks disturbing, which makes this a very clever close-up!
minelmio: Thank you Martin...
Another creative shot, Minelmio.
minelmio: Thank you Kay...
Love this. I would have never thought to shoot a foot like this. Wonderful composition.
minelmio: Thank you for your comment Robert...
Interesting shot....Thats someone's feet right?? I easily guessed
minelmio: Yes it is a foot...
Don't Fall (I think there are falls??? or is it just a linesman???)
Love this photograph - really appeals to my sense of the uncanny. Mike
minelmio: (Well, it's not the falls, or the that song that I'm thinking of, the quote is from another song. But I like your clever guessing...)
I'm glad you like the photo... thank you...
A pachyderm's an elephant, isn't it. This is so an elephant...well in my eyes it is. Trunk going down out of view to the left. Shadow for an eye, just below that freckle, and a bit of elephant forhead?
minelmio: Yes, the elephants skin. I was actually not thinking about the shape of an elephants head but now that you point it out I see what you see. Very interesting... thank you Chris...
Excellent creativity and composition. A nice and crazy subject. An elephant is a pachyderm, not necessary the other way round I believe. Heel soles are thick skinned as well, so I guess the title does fit.
Wichita sound nice - wherever that is
minelmio: Yes you are right about the pachchyderm... that is part of the reason why I have that as a title... the other is that the quote about Wichita is from a song by The White Stripes from their album "Elephant"...
good creativity here nm, looks good...
minelmio: Thank you...
I'll never suppose you look like an elephant !!
minelmio: No, I don't... and it is actually not my foot...
That is weird, now I've read Chris's comment I too can see an elephant's head in the foot!
Wouldn't be The White Stripes would it? This pretty much is how I've been in the dunes shooting my flowers in the wind. I like it!
minelmio: I didn't see it until he pointed it out... yes the quote is from a song on their album "Elephant".
I'm glad you liked it...
it does look like an elephant! really like these subtle tones. mal
minelmio: thank you mal...
lol! Very clever idea and capture. (:o)
minelmio: Thank you Rosalyn...
(White) Stripes everywhere. Did you notice they are all vertical in this shot? (I mean, the skin blends with Nature in the background, and not only because of your choice of title.)
You do incredible things with body parts, really.
minelmio: Thank you G. I didn't notice... didn't look at it that way...
Very beautiful details of its skin.
A special framing in a world of flowers. I like. Chris!
minelmio: Thank you Line... I like that you noticed the flowers... ("Chris!"?)
Lovely greys & textures in the skin: seems to be slowly melting in the Sun!
minelmio: Thank you for the nice comment Dave...
minelmio: tack... trevligt att kunna ge dig sådana associationer...
