This is a very nice abstract!
minelmio: Thank you Martin...
This is a great pic, Minelmio. It looks like the front of someone's knee, tho' I could be wrong! Very mysterious.
minelmio: Thanks Kay...
A knee? No, not at all, but I can why you think that...
So this is the black hole in the Bermuda Triangle place south of Florida, US
Excellent abstract
minelmio: Maybe...
Thank you Louis...
Beautiful abstract. (:o)
minelmio: Thank you Rosalyn for commenting...
Great work on this one,
Abstract and beautiful
minelmio: Thank you Magnus...
I am guessing it is glass?
minelmio: No, not glass...
man that is fantastic. love it
minelmio: thank you a lot nev...
wonderful minimalist abstract image my friend. You use negative space so well to. mal
minelmio: Thank you mal... I'm glad for your notice about the negative space...
This is a nice abstract indeed. Inspiring.
minelmio: Thank you Chad for visiting and commenting...
Glass? I ask because I collect art glass: looks like acid treared glass?
Like mal, I like that negative space: it can be as revealing as that which is perceived.
minelmio: No, not glass, not at all... but I can see why you think that... Yes, the negative space is important here... Thank you Dave...
Minimalistic and beautiful. Superb crop, great texture. Don't know what else to say...
Michèle
minelmio: Thank you Michèle...
not 100% sure what this is but the abstract is great and is the tone...
minelmio: Thank you Sam...
Superb contrast between light and darkness.
(I disagree with the others above: I wouldn't want to know what this is... It's just perfect. And I can't help but thinking of a black hole sun.)
minelmio: Thank you G. (And I will not tell the others what is is, only what it isn't...)
This could be the beginning of a thriller with a central enigma :
WHAT IS IT THAT MINELMIO SHOT? We could imagine an inspector conducting an investigation, he or she would be found of photography, would create his/her own blog on Shutterchance in order to know more about these people posting mysterious pictures on the web, etc, etc And at the end we would know everything about the shooter but very little of nothing about the "thing" that was shot...
minelmio: Thank you for this elaborate comment Laurence... I'm guessing that inspector is you..?
Maybe what you learn about the shooter is only skin deep fact, and the things that he shoot is what really tells a story...
"And at the end we would know everything about the shooter but very little of nothing about the "thing" that was shot..."
Which is pretty much the case with sensitive people like N., Laurence, if you know what to look at (and for)
minelmio: Or, as I wrote to Laurence: "Maybe what you learn about the shooter is only skin deep fact, and the things that he shoot is what really tells a story..."
Thanks (very much) for the answer you've made on the forum !! It helps a lot !! I suspect it but wasn't sure... anyway I've destroyed the mail and that's it !! Thanks a lot !!
This is a very beautiful picture where skin apperas like a sculpture ! You're the new Michel-Angelo !!
minelmio: Thank you Florence for the comment... although there is no organic skin in the photo...
(I'm glad that my reply was informative enough.)
cant see what it is but it looks cool
minelmio: Thank you Fia...
Great photo - I think this is skin - back of the neck, but I half think it might be bone! Intruiging. A Tool fan too? Mike
minelmio: A Tool fan yes...
Thank you for the comment Mike, although I have to disappoint you, it's neither skin or bone...
lovely shot, what part of the skin is this?
minelmio: thank you... it is not skin...
